The MICAH Fund’s core goal is to provide financial assistance to prospective Christian adoptive parents who are seeking to adopt minority children. This is done in the form of one-time monetary grants. To receive this grant the parents must apply to the MICAH Fund and be approved. Our application process is defined on this page of our Web site. Note: To allow enough time to complete this process it is best to contact the MICAH Fund right after the completion of your home study.
A financial grant may be given once for each adopted child. Grants must be applied for separately each time a child is adopted. If a grant is approved and the adoption is not completed then the process must be repeated with any new referral.
Whether a grant is given and the amount of the grant are decided as part of the application process. Grants are given based on the qualifications of the parents, financial need, and funds available at the time.
If you are interested in applying for a grant you may start the process by contacting us by phone at the following number: 651-636-5255
