The Minority Infant and Children Adoption Help (MICAH) Fund, established in 1990, was born out of a need to facilitate the adoption of minority children whose birthparents desired to voluntarily release them in adoption. The Micah Fund offers matching grants to qualified Christian parents and provides families with a support raising process to help them gather prayer and financial support for their adoption. Contributions on behalf of a child’s adoption can be tax deductible. The Micah Fund matches funds raised on a dollar for dollar basis up to a specified amount. The fund is managed by a group of volunteers, the MICAH Fund Committee. PLEASE NOTE: As of January 1, 2010, our process has changed from straight grants to matching grants.
